Since 1993, Request Entertainment DJ Service has been providing professional mobile DJ entertainment for weddings, parties, corporate events, festivals, senior communities, and special occasions of all kinds.
What began as a mobile DJ service expanded in 2004 to include karaoke entertainment and live vocal performances — creating a unique, all-in-one entertainment experience that very few companies can offer.
Owner and performer Shannon Kay has been singing since the age of four. Her musical journey began in church and later led her to perform with rock cover bands, developing a versatile vocal style that spans oldies, classic country, rock, pop, hip-hop, and many genres in between.
Known for her ability to capture the sound and style of the original artists, Shannon takes pride in delivering performances that audiences instantly recognize and enjoy — with a repertoire of well over 1,000 songs.

Shannon is an ordained minister who has officiated numerous wedding ceremonies, giving couples the rare convenience of professional entertainment and ceremony services through one trusted provider.
Senior Living Specialist
As an Activity Director Administrator overseeing three assisted living facilities, Shannon created a musical program designed especially for seniors — celebrating iconic female artists and the timeless songs they love.
Music for Seniors
Shannon has proudly served as an Activity Director in Assisted Living facilities for nearly 10 years and currently oversees activities for three facilities as an Activity Director Administrator.
Working with seniors became a true passion — and it inspired her to create a musical program designed especially for residents. After years of watching talented male performers entertain residents, Shannon saw an opportunity to celebrate the incredible female artists and timeless songs that audiences know and love.
